Yalameh Teppiche gehören zu dem Knüpfgebiet Isfahan. Sie werden hauptsächlich von Gashgai-Nomaden geknüpft! Die Gashgai-Nomaden sind wahrscheinlich seit den 14. Jahrhundert in dem südlichen Gebiet von Isfahan angesiedelt. Yalameh Teppiche sind sehr farbenfroh und meistens bunt.
Sie werden in alle Formaten geknüpft, wobei größere Formaten eher seltener zu finden sind. Meistens werden Felder-Muster geknüpft. Es gibt natürlich auch andere Mustern die in dem Gebiet geknüpft werden. Schuß und Kette sind aus Ziegenhaar oder Schafwolle. Für den Flor wird immer Schafwolle verwendet. Sie werden in verschiedenen Qualitäten angefertigt.
